Black Widow Rope Spinners

Off to a great season ! We have 28 competitive jumpers all working hard to be ready for Provincials in Nelson and Nationals in Saskatoon! We also have our 30+ team and some 40+ Recess jumpers joining us again! Some jumpers are heading to Fall Camp in November and will bring back some new skills to show. Parents are also starting their judge training. It will be an awesome season!

Getting excited about our Provincial Readiness camp in early March. We have Thomas, Erika, and Kayley instructing. Aiming to achieve some personal bests that we can then take to Provincials ! Team is working very hard at mastering their routines and increasing their speed and power skills!

We had a fabulous year , and did well in all our competitions!
10 of our athletes competed at the World Championship in Colorado Springs and we brought back a few pieces of hardware too!
Peachfest was a blast, and I am already getting requests from out of town jumpers to take part in the performances next year
We had a BC Fall Camp on the island and also our own team camp here with three instructors brought in from Alberta.
We have taken on a few new senior jumpers who are helping the younger jumpers reach their goals! We have 24 competitive athletes with another 4 from our rec group possibly competing as well.
The new year will see Records Day, Freestyle Night, another weekend camp and of course our seasonal competitions!
Watch for info on our Provincial competition in April in Oliver. Our team is hosting the event and it is the team’s 20th anniversary!

Heading home. Got to see Thomas perform for two nights which was awesome! He is off to Michigan now- into some colder temperatures !

Getting excited to see Thomas, our assistant coach , perform in Holidaze ( a Cirque Dream production), in South Carolina! He has a set with single rope , wheel, double Dutch as well as performing in the group numbers.
Fulfilling a dream after many years of hard work and dedication to the sport!

We have 24 competitive jumpers , and have welcomed Paris and Gisela back to jump and help with the team! We have a lot of 11 and under jumpers and a handful of 12-14 year old jumpers. We have 6 senior and senior plus jumpers - lots of help for our new ones!
Working on our routines, getting ready for the holidays with some fun activities coming up, and of course well into planning for Provincials 2024 in Oliver: shirts, logo, and pin design are ready to confirm!
Thomas, the assistant coach, is away performing for Cirque Dream in the US. He hopes to return in January to help with final preparations for Provincials.

Last two Peachfest shows today! It has been an awesome week! Had a great time with the team watching the parade yesterday and even did some impromptu jumping on the street!
