Last week, we had the privilege of promoting one of our star young students, Mr. Quaid, to yellow belt — and moments like this never get old.

I still remember the very first day this young man walked into the gym. One of the greatest joys of being a coach is watching students grow through their belts, their journeys, and into the strong young men and women they’re becoming.

Quaid, we are so proud of you. Your judo, your jiu-jitsu, and your overall progression as a martial artist has been incredible to witness. Keep showing up, keep working hard, and keep believing in yourself — this is just the beginning.

Last night was an incredible event at Pacific Top Team Penticton! 🥋💙
Our kids were invited to bring mom and dad to the mats so they could experience what Jiu-Jitsu is all about. We had over 15 moms and 20 dads step onto the mats for their very first Jiu-Jitsu class — and they crushed it! 🙌

After training, we all went out as a community and enjoyed the Penticton V’s game together. Such an awesome night with amazing people.

The icing on the cake: Coach Ryden Hiller received his blue belt! Huge congratulations — well deserved! 🔵👏

Coach Jordan stepped onto the mats at the Seattle Open last weekend, battling his way to the finals of his weight division and dropping a razor-close decision. He came back strong, winning GOLD in the Master 3 Absolute! 🥇🔥

Jordan finished the day 4–1, winning every match in the Absolute and giving up only a few advantages the entire tournament — an incredible performance.

Our team brought 10 members down to Seattle and returned with 12 medals, placing 10th overall on the world stage. An amazing weekend with an amazing squad. Proud of everyone and excited for the next one! 🙌💪
