NEW for 2026 - Cavan FC Grassroots Development Program ⚽︎
Our optional, skills-based ADD -ON program for Cavan FC House League players (ages 6–13) who want extra development beyond their weekly game. This program offers one additional weekly training session focused on individual skills in a fun, supportive, age-appropriate, low-pressure environment.

Who it’s for:
• U6–U13 House League players (mixed gender; groupings by age/field, adjusted as needed)
• Players looking to build confidence, sharpen skills, and keep improving
• Players not selected for Rep teams are strongly encouraged to participate

Why it matters:
This program supports long-term player development, strengthens both House League and Rep pathways, and will serve as a development pool for future Rep call-ups. Beginning in 2027, it becomes a key step toward competitive play.

Location: Crestwood Secondary School

We’ve had so many messages asking if the Father Phelan Tournament would return, and we’re thrilled to say it’s back after 8 years. Mark your calendars for October 4–5 at Eastgate Fields in Peterborough.

The Father Phelan has always been more than just soccer. It’s a fall tradition where tracksuits are a must, the weather is crisp, and players of all skill levels come together for one last weekend before the season ends.

We’ll also be gathering for a Saturday night social at a local brewery to keep the community spirit alive.
