On June 23rd, join Artist and AGP Educator Brooklin Holbrough as she takes you into one of Peterborough's beloved parks for a free afternoon of painting! Participants will meet at the picnic tables near the upper parking lot at Jackson Park (610 Parkhill Road West). Canvases, paint, brushes, and palettes will be provided. Participants are also welcome to bring their own supplies for use.

Performers, makers and food vendors are invited to apply to become a part of this year’s Canada Day celebrations.

The City of Peterborough’s annual Canada Day celebration takes place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in Del Crary Park, following the Canada Day parade. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. The celebration in Del Crary Park will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those interested in participating can apply online at peterborough.ca/CanadaDay

Applications can also be picked up at Service Peterborough, City Hall, 500 George St. N.

The deadline to apply to be a vendor is Thursday, June 11 at 4:30 p.m.
