The scariest thing in your closet this Halloween is the pile of gear you keep meaning to deal with. For the next two weeks, every trade-in gets 20% bonus credit.

Mail it in from anywhere in Canada or drop it off at , and walk away with credit for new or used gear.

Bonus runs until Friday, Nov 13. Your closet will thank you!

“Over the years, my outdoors habits have shifted, such as moving from general hiking to more specialized trips, which means certain gear just gets left behind.

Realizing I own about 8 jackets, but only ever reach for 3 was a big wake-up call (haha). I’m excited to pass along items that still have life in them to someone who may actually use them!“

We've all been there, Teri! Thanks for passing along your gear, and we can't wait to hear what you used your trade-in credit on!

Rapid fire! These are the questions we get so often we could answer them in our sleep (on one of those fluffy sleeping bags, perhaps).

Swipe through for the details. The short version is, mail in your gear from anywhere in Canada, or drop it off in person, and walk away with credit.

Still stumped? Come talk to us, or email us, or hey, send us a message right here!

Did you know you can donate your Wild Again trade-in credit to the ComPassion Project?

We asked Mellissa why she chose to:
"I was happy to donate the proceeds of my Wild Again credit to ComPassion because it cleared up some space in my closet and it helped support folks and organizations that needed it — a win/win/win in my books."

Thank you, Mellissa!

PS. For the rest of June, Wild Rock is matching Wild Again credits donated to the ComPassion Project, dollar for dollar.

That's 3 days left to do double the good for our community 💙

It’s a grey Monday, and that makes this the perfect time to look back at some of the fun our Wild Rockers got up to over the summer!

Not only is it the first day of fall, it’s also undeniably sweater weather.

We found a couple pre-loved pieces to keep you cozy, and there’s lots more online and in store.

Whether you lean in to frolicking under falling leaves and pumpkin-flavoured everything, well that’s up to you.

That little sleeping bag isn't going to fit forever. Neither is the kid-sized hiking pack, or the favourite jacket, if we're honest about how fast kids grow.

Bring in the stuff they've outgrown, and we'll turn it into credit toward the next size up. Repeat as needed, till they're buying their own gear (and by then it's a mother-earth-loving family tradition they can keep up themselves!).

Trade-ins accepted from across Canada by mail, or in person right here in Ptbo, Ontario.

One of the best parts of buying second-hand is the stories that come with the thing you're buying.

This is Breeze, our Softgoods Manager & Buyer. She's the one who picks the clothing and footwear we carry at Wild Rock, with a sharp eye for ethical and sustainable brands (especially Canadian ones) and a pulse on where outdoor fashion's headed.

Breeze just traded in this beautiful wool overshirt by Anian, a small Vancouver brand turning post-consumer textiles into timeless pieces for men and women. She'll tell you that she loved the oversized fit, how it layers as a shirt or jacket, and how transitional it is for fall weather. But when we asked how she really felt about it, she told us she wore it through her pregnancy. Its coziness and roominess kept her warm through a whole season of becoming someone's mama.

A new overshirt is nice, but one woven through with all that love is extra special.
