Belle Wood Equestrian is seeking a reliable, experienced full-time team member to join our evening program.

Hours:
🕒 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
📅 Days to be discussed

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with lesson tack-up and untack
• Feeding and general horse care
• Daily horse checks
• Assisting with farrier and vet appointments
• Supporting coaches and keeping the barn running smoothly
• Maintaining a clean, organized, functional barn

What we’re looking for:
• Previous horse experience (lesson barn experience an asset) Rider Levels as Bonus!
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable in a busy, working barn environment

Priority given to candidates who have:
• A valid driver’s license
• Experience driving a tractor (big bonus, gold star ⭐️)

Part-Time Evening Tack-Up Staff – Belle Wood Equestrian

We’re looking to add a reliable, horse-savvy team member to support our evening lesson program at Belle Wood Equestrian.

Role: Evening Tack-Up Staff
Schedule: Part-time | Weekday evenings (approx. 4:00–9:00 PM)

What you’ll be doing:
• Assisting students with horse turn-in and turn-out
• Grooming, tacking up, and untacking lesson horses
• Helping keep lessons running smoothly and on time
• Supporting coaches and riders as needed
• Keeping the barn and tack areas tidy and organized

What we’re looking for:
• Some previous horse experience
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a busy barn
• Able to work well as part of a team

What we offer:
• Consistent evening hours
• A supportive, friendly barn environment
• Hands-on experience in a structured lesson program
• Additional hours may be available for the right candidate
• Pay based on experience

This is a great opportunity for students or young riders who enjoy being around horses and want to gain more barn experience in a professional setting.

• 🐴 Hands-on time with the horses, learning how they communicate and connect with us
• 🧀 A thoughtfully curated charcuterie box for two to take with you from our friends at Biscuits to Baskets ()
• 🔥 An outdoor bonfire to gather around (weather permitting)
• ☕ Access to our cozy lounge, with hot cocoa and Valentine treats

Whether horses are already part of your life or completely new to you, this evening is about presence, connection, and sharing something just a little out of the ordinary together.

Providing “enrichment” to horses is important to keeping a healthy & happy herd! Today our leasers got to create an Equine Tea Bar to provide herbal enrichment to their horses! 🐴 🌿🫖

Horses can gain enrichment from being stimulated both mentally & physically. Creating a tea bar using caffeine-free herbal teas allows the horses to experiment on their own using their sense of smell and taste to guide them. This warm activity is easy as it only requires a bucket, herbal tea and warm water!

Charlotte is excited to renew her lease of V***e Clicquot aka V***e for the 2026 season! 🍾🧡

Charlotte worked hard last season getting to know and bond with V***e both on the ground and in the saddle. Her partnership with V***e has come a long way and is so lovely to see!

Maddie has been riding at Belle Wood since her pony days, and it has been such a joy to watch her grow and develop as both in the saddle and in the barn over the years. We’re incredibly excited to see this new partnership with River unfold and can’t wait to see you two thrive in the show ring!
