Robert Dubé led a great session of the rules of doubles squash for the Pickering Squash club last night. If you play doubles you’ll know there will be a lot of discussion around certain calls and rules on court. Having an actual Squash Canada official provide context and real world examples and answer our many questions was fantastic! All we can say for those that didn’t attend, no let for you! :)

TONIGHT, 7pm on the Doubles courts. No need to register, just turn up! Don't let you opponent get away with that! Get all your questions answered about the right calls on the court, whether you are playing house league, tournaments, OSDL or just for fun!

Pub Night only $25 per person (guests are welcome)

Club Championship tournament entry only $30

The Pickering Womens team has advanced to the league finals following a competitive semifinal match against Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club in the Women's T&D Division 2 Ontario Squash Doubles League.

It was a strong overall team performance, with solid wins securing the result and a determined effort across the lineup. The group has shown real commitment throughout the season, and earning a place in the finals is a great accomplishment.

Finals will be held at B&R, and the team is looking forward to the challenge ahead against a strong Richmond Hill team who placed first in the regular season.

In other league action, our Division 4A Men’s team will compete in their semifinal tonight!

It’s a rare night at the club this Thursday! We have all three of our OSDL (Ontario Squash Doubles League) men’s doubles teams playing at home simultaneously! Starting at 6:00 PM, come out and support your fellow members as the matches roll through the evening:

On Court 1: We have a club showdown! Both of our Division 4 teams are facing off against each other.

On Court 2: Our Division 3 team—currently sitting in 1st place—takes on the Cricket Club.

With three teams per side playing in succession, there will be plenty of great squash to watch. It’s a perfect chance to see the OSDL league in action and enjoy the Pickering atmosphere with the rest of the membership. Matches start at 6:30.
