Competition has helped our students grow so much over the past year.

We are incredibly proud of all the development our students have made mentally, physically, and spiritually throughout 2025-2026 competitive year.

We are very proud to announce that The Harmony Center has been presented the “Dojo of the Year” award from Karate Ontario. This massive achievement wouldn’t have been possible without our dedicated athletes, instructors and families who constantly support all of our efforts.

In addition to this esteemed accomplishment, our very own Hanshi Raymond has received his 8th Dan recognition by Karate Ontario and Karate Canada! An incredible honour on top of his recognition from grandmaster Kancho T Okayama.

We appreciate the continued support from our community and look forward to bringing even more honour to our dojo through our incredible students.

What a wonderful way to end the 2025–2026 tournament season. Spending the weekend in Niagara with everyone was a magical experience.

After competing consistently throughout the year, we have seen tremendous growth in all of our students and couldn’t be more proud. Travelling to Niagara together did more than strengthen us as competitors… it strengthened our bond as a family.

It was a privilege to spend the weekend alongside such incredible people. We couldn’t have asked for a better time with some of our most dedicated members. You made The Harmony Center shine!

As we prepare for the next season, we look forward to seeing our athletes continue to grow, and take their training to the next level…

After 20 years, The Harmony Center has a new look!!

Renovations are finally complete with the addition of our new mats! Thank you to all of our outstanding community members who volunteered late into the night to help make this transformation possible. This is the true Harmony spirit!

We hope everyone enjoys training on the new mats and appreciates the time, effort, and care that went into revitalizing our dojo.

With the strength of our community behind us, The Harmony Center will continue to grow together.

Magical is the only way to describe yesterday’s Black Belt grading.

This was one of the greatest gradings our panel has had the privilege of witnessing. Your lifelong dedication to Karate brought you to this moment, and you all shined.

A Black Belt is not the finish line, but the beginning of a new journey. As you step into this next stage of Shotokan, we hope you continue to broaden your knowledge and discover what the true meaning of karate is.

The Harmony instructors are incredibly proud of everything you all have achieved and are excited to watch your journey continue.

Proud is an understatement… every athlete has really leveled up this year, and it showed! As we move towards the next season, it’s time to tap into even greater potential.

Thank you to Hanshi Daryoush and Canadian National Champion, Charisma, for delivering such an excellent seminar. Our students gained a great deal from the experience, and were inspired by Charisma’s skills. It was a valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and become better martial artists.

Another strong belt grading at the dojo yesterday. The focus, discipline, and effort on display were outstanding. Congratulations to everyone who achieved their next belt. The training continues.
