📣 COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
⚡🥎 PCFA is pleased to announce Tony Adams as Head Coach of our 2010/2011 U17B team.
Tony brings more than 25 years of coaching experience in baseball, more than 30 years in soccer, and over a decade of softball coaching experience. He has also spent many years as a baseball umpire and has an extensive playing background in both men’s fastpitch and orthodox fastpitch.
Across his coaching career, Tony has helped teams reach provincial competition and has seen athletes progress on to play college softball. He brings experience in player development, hitting, fielding, catching, baserunning, team defence, game management, tournament preparation and building strong team culture.
Tony’s approach is centred on skill-based development and strong fundamentals, while creating a positive, supportive and competitive environment, with open communication between coaches, players and families throughout the year. He places a strong emphasis on helping athletes feel valued and respected, and continue developing both on and off the field. The goal is continuous improvement while making sure athletes leave the season more confident and with an even greater love for the game.
We’re excited to have Tony leading this 2010/2011 U17 group and bringing his experience back to the PCFA rep program. ⚡🥎
