The 2026/2027 TFA tournament season started with a bang last Sunday! Training tournaments are an important part of a young developing fencers journey and we are so proud of everyone that came out for the start of the season, experienced and new fencers alike!

TFA is ramping up our tournament schedule this year to give fencers even more opportunities to try their hand at competitions, hone their skills, steel their nerves, and work towards competitive greatness. Events range from Y8 to Veterans and include both individual and team events.

We will be continuing to offer Novice events for Y8-Cadet for fencers that are new to competition and have been fencing for less than two years. This is a great opportunity for new fencers to try competition in a lower stress, less intimidating environment.

All of the events for the 2026/2027 TFA Tournament series are live on Askfred. We'll see you there!

This month's Youth Team Tournament was a blast! Incredible displays of team spirit and passion from fencers, coaches, parents, and volunteers.

In an individual sport like fencing, it is so great to see everyone coming together to fight as a team. We are so happy with the turnout and camaraderie shown throughout the day and plan this to be the first of many, so we'll see you all again soon!
