Join Westlinks resident Bill Forbes and friends on Friday, October 16 for an afternoon of golf, dinner, and an opportunity to hear more about Bill’s remarkable journey.

On January 27, 2023, Bill was involved in a horrific head-on car accident on his way home from work, sustaining more than 30 injuries. A year later, he was diagnosed with cancer. Today, Bill’s recovery has brought him back to the golf course, where he enjoys playing weekly with his Westlinks buddies.

Throughout his recovery, Bill also took the time to put his experience into words, sharing his emotional story in a book. The evening will include a book signing, with copies of Bill’s book available for purchase at the event.

Friday, October 16
3:30 p.m. — Shotgun Start
6:00 p.m. — Cocktail Hour & Book Signing
7:00 p.m. — Dinner & Prizes

Registration is available through the Club at Westlinks Pro Shop at 519-832-4653.
Registration deadline: Tuesday, October 6

Join us for nine holes of golf followed by dinner, or come for dinner and the book signing only.

Whether you’re here for the golf, looking forward to community events and social activities, want to make use of the gym, or just enjoy a quiet walk around the neighbourhood, there’s a little something for everyone at Westlinks.

Come see it for yourself at our Open House on Saturday, September 26th from 10:30 AM–1:30 PM.

📍 86 Eagle Court

Tour the model home, explore the clubhouse and amenities, demo the driving range, enjoy a light snack and some Westlinks swag, and chat with experienced agents who can answer your questions.

A shuttle will run between the model home and clubhouse throughout the event.

Yesterday was Thank a Superintendent Day, so we’re giving a well-deserved shoutout to our own!

Jeremy Hubbard brings experience, knowledge, and dedication to the Westlinks team. From the big picture to the smallest details, there’s a lot that goes into keeping a golf course at its best while also managing the club—and we’re grateful to have him leading the way as both the Superintendent and General Manager.

Jeremy recently achieved his Class A Superintendent status with the GCSAA, a great accomplishment that reflects his commitment to the profession.

And, as per Jeremy’s request, we also want to recognize Graham and the rest of the turf team for their dedication and commitment over the years. Keeping a golf course in top shape is a team effort, and their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.
