First Up: Summer Programs Announcement!

We are so excited to begin sharing our summer offerings for the season!

We are thrilled to welcome Sean Smith from Dallas, Texas for an incredible Ballet / Contemporary Workshop ages 12+ for experienced dancers.

Sean brings a wealth of professional experience and artistry. He has performed with Ballet Creole, Zata Omm Dance Project, Mascall Dance, Bruce Wood Dance Dallas, Rhythmic Souls Tap Company, African American Repertory Theater, Texas Christian University/She DFW Arts, The Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center, B. MOORE DANCE, and Dallas Black Dance Theatre, where he danced for 14 seasons and also served as Rehearsal Director.

In addition to performing, Sean is a highly sought-after choreographer and educator. His choreography credits include Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Ft. Worth Symphony Orchestra, Boston Conservatory Summer Intensive, Joffrey Ballet School Texas, I.M. Terrell Academy, and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.

Sean is currently on faculty at Dupree Dance, Ambition Dance Productions, The DASH Academy, Ballet Papillon, The Dallas Conservatory, and the Regen Trainee Program, among others. He has also taught at the renowned Jacob’s Pillow 360.

This is an incredible opportunity for our dancers to train with a world-class artist, and registration opens April 15th! Do not hesitate to register, classes will fill up quickly!

Here are some of our favorite shots of our soloists from this weekend. WOW, what a weekend! ✨

We brought one company group, and they absolutely amazed us with their hard work, dedication, and beautiful teamwork. We are feeling so inspired, excited, and more ready than ever for competition season.

We danced alongside hundreds of incredible dancers and had the opportunity to take classes from so many talented instructors who shared such wise and meaningful words with our young dancers.

A huge shoutout to:
• Makayla, who competed among 130 dancers and placed Top 25 — incredible!
• Naomi and Imogen, who both made it to the final audition for Outstanding Junior Dancer!
• Imogen, bringing it home as Runner-Up, you go girl! 💪

And of course, our very own Ms. Rachael, who took two groups to competition and had both receive Critics’ Choice Awards — WOW!
The only two groups we brought placed 5th Overall (Jazz), 2nd Overall (Lyrical), and 3rd Overall all Junior Groups, alongside the Critics’ Choice win for “She Walks in Beauty”.

A HUGE thank you to all of the Instructors who help shape these dancers into beautiful artists. We appreciate you!

We are absolutely buzzing with energy after this weekend and cannot wait to jump back into the studio, grind hard, and prepare for the next competition. Let’s go!

Our last and final Professional Training Group to introduce is one of our senior groups. 🧡

These dancers, many of whom have been with us since they were little have grown into truly exceptional young humans right before our eyes. Watching their journey has been an honour, and we are so grateful to have played a small part in shaping who they are today.

This group moves with remarkable grace, poise, and elegance. Their strong dynamic port de bras and seamless transitions create movement that feels intentional, refined, and deeply connected. Don’t let their quiet demeanor fool you, there is incredible power in their subtlety. Their control and restraint can be just as explosive and impactful as the highest energy groups.

They embody everything we encourage our dancers to strive for: trying new genres, taking new classes, working with multiple teachers, taking chances, pushing boundaries, and never giving up. They carry all of these qualities, and more, into the studio every day.

This is an extremely well-balanced group of dancers who complement one another beautifully, and we are so excited to watch them rise again this season. We hope this is a truly incredible year for each of them. 🧡
