MAMA & BABY YOGA CLASSES!

This class is designed especially for moms & babies to stretch, bond, and breathe in a supportive environment. Strengthen your post-partum, sleep-deprived body with yoga poses & practices. This is a time for mamas and babies to form attachment through touch, movement and massage. The class holds space for time with your baby, either wearing baby, holding baby in your arms, leaning against your leg, sitting in your lap or on a blanket.

Open to mothers 4 weeks post-delivery or 6 weeks post-caesarian. Please have your doctor’s permission before starting. Please bring a blanket for baby.
Our six week session starts on Monday Sept. 21st 9:30-10:15 am (no class on Thanksgiving Monday). The registration fees have stayed low as we know mat leave can be a tough time financially, total for the series is $66 + GST. Pay by e-transfer of credit.

Healing & Rejuvenation Meditation Series

Join Melanie Mirasty, meditation teacher, for a four-week meditation series designed to calm the nervous system, release tension, and restore balance. Each Sunday session combines guided meditation, breathwork, and gentle restorative practices to help you relax, recharge, and leave feeling centered and refreshed. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow so you can fully settle into the experience.

Join a group of expecting mamas & Celeste to find community, share resources, & connect. Celeste will guide you to connect with your baby, yourself, to feel & move better, lower stress & learn somatic tools to prepare you for labour, delivery, & motherhood.

Class combines a gentle yoga practice focused on opening and accepting, with somatic regulation skills to prepare for your birth. Every class ends with a guided relaxation.

About our retreat food…at Tapestry Tyson & Celeste put a lot of love into the food we serve. Celeste preps the day before & plays & sings mantras while preparing. Tyson will cook what can’t be prepared ahead of time & brings it to the studio on time for lunch. We recognize that food insecurity is a serious issue in our community & across the country & part of the retreat is making a donation to a community organization, this year it is to the Prince Albert Food Bank. Retreat participants often ask for recipes so that has become a tradition now too. Food is love & it’s one of the ways we make things special at Tapestry! Photos of our rainbow bowls this year!
