Kairali Amateur Badminton Club

Youth & Kids Badminton free‑play sessions are running on May 4, 11, 25 and June 1, 8, 15 (no session on Victoria Day, May 18) from 0600 to 0730 pm. This is a casual play opportunity—perfect for kids ages 6–17 to stay active and build confidence. Indoor shoes are required, and racquets are available to borrow. For our younger players, parent participation is encouraged. A great chance to support young talent and future champions while keeping things fun and low‑pressure. What an unforgettable experience at the BC Winter Games 2026! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of Joshua, Kevin, and Anisha for representing our community with courage, determination, and heart. With only a few months to prepare, they stepped up, traveled away from home and family, and competed with confidence and pride.

Not only did the Zone 8 team bring home medals 🥇🥈🥉, they were also honored with the Most Sportsmanlike Team Award — a true testament to their character, teamwork, and respect for the game. What an amazing achievement!

They have truly become trailblazers for our community, inspiring future generations to dream big and work hard.

A heartfelt thank you to Coach Emily for her incredible leadership and support, to all the parents for their dedication, and special thanks to Arun and Arpit for helping prepare the athletes for this journey.

🏸 Celebrating the Success of Our Women & Girls Coaching Program! 🌟

Kairali Amateur Badminton Club, in proud partnership with Badminton BC, successfully conducted the Women and Girls Coaching Program from September 11 to November 6, 2025!

Over the course of the program, 18 enthusiastic participants had the opportunity to learn and enhance their badminton skills under the guidance of an NCCP-certified coach. It was truly wonderful to see both women and girls come together, share their passion for the sport, and support each other’s growth — both on and off the court. 💪🏸

This program was a brand-new experience for many of our members and has inspired us to continue creating more opportunities for women and girls to get involved in badminton. The energy, teamwork, and smiles throughout the sessions were absolutely uplifting! 😊

A heartfelt thank you to Badminton BC for their partnership and to all the participants for making this program such a rewarding experience. Together, we’re building a stronger and more inclusive badminton community! ❤️
