Getting Ready for Camping?
Purden Lake is open and ready to go !
Crooked River will be open 11 am on May 13th, there is already a line up for LTS, we will update if that line up reaches 10. We are onsite and the snow is off the roads.
Paarens Beach, Beaumont, Sowchea will be open May 15th,
Whiskers Point will be open May 15th, we are onsite and working to clean up.

We made it to km 9 at Carp on Saturday and are confident we will be able to get in this Thursday/Friday May 15. Reminder that the park gates are not locked, but we typically clear some trees from the road as we head out.

BC Parks is excited to open reservations for the Berg Lake Trail. Reservations for the full season open on Tuesday, December 2, at 7:00 am and can be booked for stays between May 27 and September 29, 2026. Reservations are required for overnight stays in peak season and are available at camping.bcparks.ca.

Don't forget to sign in or register before that to streamline the booking.

I would suggest checking in every 15 mins for your favorite spots and dates, as this will allow for peoples "carts" to time out if they haven't finalized their booking.

Remember that you can always add extra people to your booking when you arrive at the park as long as they will fit on the tent pads that you booked.
