Please read if you had planned on attending Worlds this year...

🚨Unfortunately we have to postpone CPF Westerns originally scheduled for May 23. There are just too many unpredictables right now. We want to let everyone know that this is a postponement, not a cancellation.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We are hoping for a July event, but at this point there is too much uncertainty to announce a concrete date - we are going to see what the landscape looks like in a few weeks and make an announcement at that time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We want to thank everyone for their patience and give everyone plenty of time to properly prepare, so stay tuned.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Stay safe out there and hope to see you all sooner rather than later! .cpf

On a technical note for westerns on May 23 and moving forward:

If you register as a RAW lifter you can wear knee sleeves in the CPF. As per the CPF website:
“As of 2018 knee sleeves will be allowed in the raw division. Sleeves are only legal in CPF meets and for CPF records. If a lifter wishes to set a WPC World Records then WPC rules shall take precedence and knee sleeves will not be legal in the raw division, similarly if a lifter wishes to compete internationally with the WPC they must do so without sleeves.
Knee sleeves must consist of a one ply knee sleeve or knee cap made from commercially available neoprene or woven elastic that is covered with polyester, cotton or combinations of either materials of not more than 30cm in length. A knee sleeve may not have any Velcro on it and must be both non-adjustable and non-fastening. Knee sleeves shall not be in contact with the socks or lifting suit.”

Keep that in mind while registering!
