Thank you Trail Curling Club for an amazing venue. BC Winter Games 2026 thank you for the opportunity to play the sport we love with athletes around the province and Curl BC for being our provincial organization and providing the support we need to make this event happen.

The BC Games came to an end for the Zone 8 Girls. Their last game against Zone 7 was amazing. So many great shots were made. One of the girls got sick and could not play the last game so they played with 3. All 3 girls stepped up and played their best game. Coach Wendee was super proud and on the edge of her seat the entire game. It went into an extra end and our skip planted a rock behind cover to take the win.

Girls placed 7th. A great effort for 4 girls playing for the love of curling!!

ALSO....Our third, Evie, got a bronze medal from the skills competition. Woohoo!!

An outstanding game they had in the semi finals. Back and forth game and unfortunately the last rock did not go their way.

There are many fans here in the Trail Curling Club cheering them on!

Both boys and girls got to practice in Trail today and are very excited to play on ice that is much different that their home ice. Lots of swing, lots of potential for cool draw behinds and there will be lots of opportunities for points! Exciting times ahead.

Today the boys and girls get a taste of Rossland Curling club for practice and the skills competition.
