Reel North Adventures is proud to say that we were awarded the BC Tourism Industry Award for Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Operator last night!!! Thank you so much to Tourism PG for the nomination and Destination BC for sponsoring this award. We are proud to announce our new accessible and inclusive boat and can't wait for the season ahead. We hope our work encourages other businesses to evaluate their operations and find ways to address barriers to accessible and inclusive services. Also big shout out to Nancy Harris with Spinal Cord BC, Pat, Colton, and CC Industries (Lee Carter) for their feedback and help making this project a success.

Carley was on 🔥 The Luhr Jensen Needle Fish Size 1 in gold works like a hot damn as an ice spoon and creates a good flutter and lots of flash which helps mimic a baby gold fish in Dragon Lake and those bows just can't resist.

Ruby, our adventure dog/river rat, is almost back in action again after 2 surgeries. We brought her out for a test run in the new boat and she did great! We are so excited to get her out on the lakes & rivers again this year!

Ice fishing season isn't over yet!!

I love this time of year to reflect on some of the things we've learned. I was browsing across my photos today and this sexy rainbow trout we caught on a Rapla Bx brat 06 in haymaker colour. It reminded of the effectiveness of matching what's in the lake. Dragon Lake in Prince George BC has an invasive goldfish problem and this BX brat by rapala matches up perfectly. These crankbaits dive down to 6 ft and can be trolled as well as effectively casted and cranked back. A great way to work the top shelf before drop offs along the w**d beds. Hold on to your rod the strikes can be violent! A fun and effective option if you're looking to change things up from your regular go-to's
