Please note that the Sport Pugwash AGM will be held on September 21st, 2026 at the Pugwash Village Hall at 6:30pm.

We would like to thank Langille's Automotive for making a donation to Sport Pugwash! We greatly appreciate the support you've shown us as it makes it possible to continue providing these facilities in the area!

We are pleased to announce that our organization was among the recipients of a grant from the Municipality of Cumberland County last month, and we extend our sincere gratitude for their support. Shown receiving this grant on behalf of Sport Pugwash is board member Justin Brownell.

We are thrilled that the Girls At Bat program that took place this spring had such a fantastic turnout at Sport Pugwash. It is always a pleasure to see kids learning and taking part in these fun activities. Thank you to the Jays Care Foundation and Cumberland Rec NS for making this possible!

Programs about to start up at Sport Pugwash are open to everyone with the following criteria for each:

- T-Ball for ages 5-7 every Monday from 5:30-6:30pm cost is $45. Held from July 6- August 17.

- Pre-teen Softball for ages 8-13 every Wednesday from 1:30-3pm cost is $40. Held from July 8- August 19.

The Adrian MacDonald Memorial Softball Tournament last weekend was another one for the history books. It is always a pleasure to host this. As always there was nothing but respect shown by and for all athletes, respect for Bonnie the ump and respect for the Sport Pugwash facility as a whole.

Thank you to all that organized this tournament, especially Stephanie Embree. It takes a lot of time and effort to make these things happen.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Adrian's family. Following the tournament they very generously made a donation to Sport Pugwash to help us continue making improvements to the facility. Without people like you we would not be able to continue.

Last but not least, we would like to congratulate the winning team of this year's tournament, Team Hicks!

We would like to thank Andrew and Kristine Van de Wiel of Pugwash Home Hardware for generously donating multiple new garbage cans, a new rake and cans of paint for Sport Pugwash! These folks are constantly supporting different community projects and we hope they know how much they are appreciated!
