Acceleration is key!!

Every shot requires a level of acceleration in your swing. From putter to driver, always be accelerating. When dealing with your putter specifically, far too often players slow the swing down in a attempt to manipulate the putter or even cut down on distance(lag). Take less in your backswing and accelerate through the ball. Keep this concept with all of your clubs and you will have success.

Avoid the temptation!!

Far too many people spend way too much time practicing with their driver. It's very satisfying to hit that long drive, but in golf the most important shot is the next shot you make. Practice with a purpose. Put away the driver and focus on the next shot.

Stay behind your ball when using the driver. Position the ball even with you front foot instep and be sure to remain behind the ball throughout your swing. This will promote a slightly higher launch angle and help you get the most distance with your driver.
