Due to unforeseen circumstances, the scheduled water outage for today will not be taking place. We are actively working on a new plan to tackle this repair. We will put out a notice if a water outage needs to occur.

UPDATE: Preparation for the water line repair is ongoing. We are still expecting to shut down the high-pressure line to the north side of town later today but will continue to update.

The Town will be performing a water line repair tomorrow morning. In order to complete the repair, the main line servicing the residential side of town will need to be depressurized. Those north of Highway 58 will not have water beginning at approximately 10am. We expect the outage to last for several hours.

We will post another update tomorrow morning right before the water is turned off and another when service has been restored.

Internet service has been restored.

Due to the internet outage, the Town Office will close at noon today, September 16. For emergencies you can reach out to the CAO at 780-956-1701.

If anyone requires an internet connection, we have a Starlink set up for public use at the Rec Plex.

UPDATE: A line has been damaged, which feeds the internet system to Connect Mobility customers. We are expecting an extended outage while crews work to locate and repair the line. When we receive an ETA, we will post an update here.

We are aware of an internet outage through Connect Mobility. This is being actively worked on; however, we do not have an ETA at this time. We will provide an update when we have one.
