Red Deer Rookies A co-ed group for all levels of hockey from Red Deer and surrounding area, if your looking to improv

We started this group in May of 2015 with the intention of creating an environment where the lesser talented hockey players of Red Deer & surrounding areas could have a place to play fun, yet competitive shinny hockey with players closer to their capabilities. We currently have over 150 members made up of men and women aged 18-60 and still growing!! Some haven't played the game in years, some just want to sharpen their skills and some have never played the game. We typically play on Sunday, Tuesday & Friday nights around Red Deer. Check out our schedule on www.rdrookies.com for a list of upcoming games.

Lost one of our goalies for tonight’s 945pm game at Dawe South. Can anyone help out? It’s a free spot in attempt to keep these Wednesday games alive. Not looking promising though :(

Still looking for 2 goalies this Wednesday to play 945-1045pm. I've opened the spots up for free in hopes we can get enough people signed up to keep the Wednesday nights going. If October 14th & November 18th games have low attendance the remainder of Wednesday games would be cancelled :(

Hallelujah! Thank-you to our 2 goalies who stepped up for tonight’s game 👏 👏

Lots of player spots & ice time available if you who like that sort of thing. There’s even rumours the founding fathers of RDR will be making an appearance 🤫
