Summer Junior Curling Camp - Afternoon Sessions

We’re excited to add afternoon sessions to our Junior Curling Camp this summer, offering a fun way for kids to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy time on the ice.

What’s included:
• 1.5 hours of on-ice instruction
• Fun games and activities
• Daily nutritional snack
• Skill development for new curlers
• Based on Curling Alberta's Ready to Rock program

How it works:
2 sessions • 2 weeks each • 5 days per session
Time: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Session 1: July 7, 10, 14, 15, 17
Session 2: July 21, 22, 24, 28, 29

The Red Deer Curling Centre is excited to welcome teams for the 2026 Red Deer Rocks Junior Cash Spiel, taking place October 30 – November 1, 2026.

Compete against top junior teams in a fun and competitive event featuring:

• L*D Challenge

• U15 (8 teams)

Darren’s Summer Shaker is your excuse to bring the heat to the ice. Embrace your inner tacky tourist and join the fun at the Red Deer Curling Centre.

Your entry includes games on and off the ice, a meal, prizes, entertainment, and plenty of fun. The first 24 teams to round up their crew will be ready to SHAKE things up, so don’t miss out.

Summer Sturling – Tuesday PM

Join us this summer for a fun and social 6-week Sturling league! Grab a partner and enjoy 6-end games in a round robin format, perfect for all skill levels.

Tuesdays | June 30 – August 4
Time: 2:00 – 3:00 PM
Cost: $60 per person

Sturling is a 2-person curling game for stick, slide, and wheelchair curlers. Open to all ages and skill levels for a fun, inclusive experience.

Bonus: We offer a combined league option—join our Lunch & Learn Clinics and Sturling league. Learn right before Tuesday league games so you can immediately put your new skills into practice on the ice.
