Our ladies league has wrapped up for the season, and what a great season it has been! We’ve had so many fun days and nights on the course, lots of laughs, great golf (and some questionable golf 😂).

We’re not quite ready to call it a year yet! We have a few fun events planned for September to help us wind things down in style, but first, let's recognize these ladies on a fantastic season!

The Board of the Red Deer Golf and Country Club is thrilled and honored to present this year's Centennial Scholarship award winners. Our two recipients this year are Austin Karton and Baylee Paxman.

Austin has worked at RDGCC in the Backshop and will be entering his third year at the University of Alberta studying Kinesiology.

Baylee is a valued member of our kitchen staff and will be studying Sciences at the University of Lethbridge starting this Fall.

Pictured with Baylee and Austin are Club President Ingrid Anderson and Centennial Scholarship committee chair Michael Donlevy. Funds for the scholarship are derived from the endowment fund that was set up after the Club celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2022 and is administered by the Boards Legacy committee ; Chair Dennis Zukiwsky, Michael Donlevy and Jim McPherson.

We also want to take a moment to thank our dedicated staff for making sure this past week ran so smoothly. Turf Care, to Golf Shop, to Food & Beverage - we are so fortunate to have the most amazing team, dedicated to ensuring our members and guests have the best experience at RDGCC.
