The Comeback Kids The Red Deer Riggers had to come back in three of their four wins, including in their final game, to capture bronze at the Baseball Canada Men's Nationals.

After getting home and having some time to reflect on our week what a ride it was. Coming home with a bronze medal is very a big deal for the boys and our province. We’ve shown Alberta can hang with the best in the country. Being made up of players primarily from Central Alberta with a few Calgary and Edmonton guys shows how good baseball is in our area.

To all our families, wives, kids, and girlfriends. Thanks for letting us have this week with this group. We have made new friendships and memories with old friend that will last a life time. We truly appreciate it and know how hard this week was for everyone at home.

To the fans. You guys are the best. All the messages of support and FaceTimes, phone calls, social media posts we felt the love!

To the players going back to school we hope
You guys dominate this year and we know you’re ready for whatever challenges comes your way.

To the guys who decide to hang it up. We appreciate all the time and hours and blood sweat and tears. Once a Rigger always a Rigger. You’re always welcome back.

Final Regular season season game Monday in Sylvan Lake vs the Calgary Diamondbacks. Winner of this game advanced to the Sunburst South Division playoffs and will take on the Calgary Rockies. Game time is 7:30pm. See you there!

Make up game tonight in Sylvan. Due to weather we are playing tonight’s away game vs at 7pm. We will also continue a rain out game after the conclusion of the first game. The riggers are leading that game 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning.
