RDP is offering a community Ceramics non-credit course this November! Take Intro to Wheel Throwing every Sunday from November 1 to December 6 in the Visual Arts studio spaces on campus.

Registration Deadline: October 25, 2026
Course Fee: $350.00 (plus GST)
This class will provide levelled introductory demonstrations, instructor guidance, and access to studios outside of class time.

Welcome to Halina Anderson who will play Dr. Armstrong in CAT's upcoming production of AND THEN THERE WERE NONE by Agatha Christie!

Halina Anderson is an Indigenous actor born and raised in Central Alberta. More specifically, Red Deer for twenty-two whole years. When she isn't down at the Red Deer Pottery Club making horrors unknown to man with clay, she can be found doing what she loves; Acting.

Theater has always been a big part of her life, dating back all the way to her first experience on stage as Peggy, in Peggy the Pint Sized Pirate in the fourth grade. She hadn't wanted to audition for the show, rather showing up in support of a friend, but one of her previous teachers, Jesse Hansen, encouraged her to try out. Later, he gave her the leading role. Ever since then, she has been in any theater production, cast or crew, that she can get her hands on. Most recently as Juliet in Primestock Theater’s production of The Lady Doth Protest, and the antecedent of that being Eileen Spencer in CAT’s production of Bookclub.

Find her in upcoming projects such as The Vessel show at the Viewpoint Gallery in November, where a sculpture of hers will be displayed and later as she takes on the role of directing a one act titled, “The Game” in the Spring of 2027.

Finally, she would like note how exceedingly innocent she is.
