Finally got a chance to pickup my custom double drags. Cannot wait to see how they perform. They feel SOILD and great in the hand! I think I finally can stop looking for the ultimate drag solution, I maybe holding it!

Late season yote calling is perfect for some product testing and long range hunting. Kris pulled out the and strapped on the new tripod. It is perfect tripod for open county stay low calling!

+10C in February??? Wow, not the best conditions but persistence pays off, after 2 yotes just peaked downwind and took off, Kris stuck with it and this super white female with brilliant silver tipped guard hair presented a head on shot at 200 yards. Kris made a perfect 10 ring chest shot. This is one of the nicest yotes in years… Kris decided it will make a gorgeous soft tan!

Super warm day last weekend. Kris ventured to southern Sask, zero snow. He had a pair come into the hills and stop on a dime when they made him. With no cover and bright sunlight, he quickly picked the palest one…. Unfortunately he picked wrong! After a 300 yard walk, he saw shoulder mites had got to this yote!

Last stand of the day, Kris calls in a female screeching in for his old man Phil. The OG makes a great shot for another 6 yote day!

Yotes are just not in the mood this day, at the “carpile” stand after 1/2hr of calling, Kris and Phil were just about to call it quits when Phil spotted a face peaking over the hill. Kris couldn’t get a definitive range on it, but behind was 460 yards and the hill in front was 420… so he held for 440 and that 55gr Berger from the 20BR hit true… noodle shots are a distinct sound for sure! Big male didn’t see or feel it coming.

The very next stand, Kris watched this pale female circle around for 20 minutes staying 800 plus yards and work down wind. Kris managed to peak its interest and get it to 300 yards before it got straight down wind, whooped it stopped and let the 20BR eat for number 3 on the day so far.
