The Tor Hill Ladies Golf Club celebrated National Women’s Golf Day yesterday, June 2, 2026!

And have you heard of ON THE GREEN: Women's Golf, started by Amanda Siebert Yake when she noticed how many women wanted to try golf but didn’t know where to start? She created a group where beginners could learn together, ask questions freely, and feel encouraged every step of the way. Her goal was simple: make golf accessible, enjoyable, and community‑focused—and that spirit still drives On The Green today.
And that’s why the Tor Hill Ladies Golf Club invited the On The Green group out for a special night on National Women's Golf Day. It was the perfect chance to connect, celebrate women in golf, and welcome these new golfers into our community.

Tor Hill Men’s Golf Club Stapleford Tournament alert!
For those not familiar with a stapleford tournament, rather than use your stroke count, you receive points for each hole based upon your net score in relation to par for that particular hole.
The points work as follows:
Net Double Bogey or worse = 0 points
Net Bogey = 1 point
Net Par = 2 points
Net Birdie = 3 points
Net Eagle = 4 points
Net Albatross or better = 5 points.

Tournament is restricted to Tor Hill members and associate members.
Cost is $20.00 plus applicable green fees.
Entrants can select their tee boxes based upon their age and personal preference.
There will be 2 flights.
