Although only one of our cubs could make it to the tournament today, he made us proud with his fearlessness, tenacity, and most importantly, for having a blast. Congratulations on your first tournament - we're excited to see you shine on the mats in the future 🥋

Cougars results from this weekend: Eva Kanasevich - 0-2 u14, 2-0 u16 GOLD; Zach Kanasevich 1-3 newaza, 1-2 U18 BRONZE; Anna Li 3-0 u18 GOLD; Felix Leonard 2-1 U18 SILVER, 0-3 senior, Kenzie Woods 0-2 senior; Charlotte Leonard 3-0 u16 GOLD, 2-0 u14 GOLD. We were also well represented with 3 of our coaches on staff: Bishop Sommerfeld, Tristin Hoffarth, and Kolbi Fenrick!

We were just getting started and were so excited to have you around.
You embodied everything that we want to be as a club. Bright, welcoming, enthusiastic, full of energy, hard working and dedicated.
As a coach you had the knack, you automatically took over when we were distracted and talking. If anyone new showed up you would pull them aside and start showing them the basics. When there was an odd number you were automatically in and training with whoever needed a partner.

We will miss your presence on and off the mats. There will forever be a hole that cannot be filled because that was you, you were the guy, perhaps you didn’t understand just how great you were and we’ll be appreciative of the time we had with you but also sad that we can’t have you with us anymore.
