The 2026 Prairie Classic Pt II - High noon on the Badlands felt as cold or colder than the day previous!
One bad decision (bad bipod height selection) and some tricky winds cost me dearly on the second stage of my day. I was able to rally back and clean 4 out of the other 7 stages and take home the 3rd place trophy.
Celebrating the wins:
-Cleaned 4 of 8 Stages
-1st time for me with the fastest time with a clean on the Skills Stage
-my personal best highest hit percentage of shots taken at 91.463%

Huge thanks to M.D. .c.j for all his efforts and putting these matches together.
Cant wait for the end of May when we will return to this venue for the 2026 Cactus Cup, PRS 2 Day Pro Series match at this gorgeous scenic venue overlooking the South Saskatchewan River. You won’t want to miss this upcoming match so if you haven’t already signed up, jump in!

Shooters from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C all gathered in Medicine Hat this weekend for the 2026 SAPRL Gunslinger Showdown one day PRS Foothills Regional match.
The weather was cold, and visibility was poor due to heavy snowfall at times. Conditions never before witnessed in Medicine Hat in all the years we have been shooting this match!
My rifle system performed flawlessly again in very adverse conditions.
I came close to my 3rd victory in as many matches. One one thousandth of a second was the difference between first and second so it was an exciting close match!
Still very happy to take home the 2nd place hardware. Confidence and consistency is high this year.
I have been running a new trigger system now for the past 4 Pro Series matches and last 3 Regional matches. The Fabio Fare Veloce HD with flat trigger shoe has performed flawlessly in the Desert of Arizona, red dust of Oklahoma, and in freezing temps in Manitoba and Alberta!
If you’re wanting to give the new Veloce HD a try, come see me on the line a see for yourself!

51 Shooters from Manitoba and Saskatchewan showed up at the Valley Precision Range near Snowflake, Manitoba Saturday morning to brave the -7 degree Celcius temps and 12-18 mph winds that made it feel even colder!
I was fortunate to come out on top after 10 stages of what was a challenging course of fire that MD Mike Gorchynski put together for the competitors.
Huge thanks also to the RO’s that braved the cold all day to help us run this match.
Mike put on a tasty Burger cookout after the match to fuel us back up for the trip back home to Regina.
I feel very fortunate to get my second win in back to back weekends. With this win, I have now achieved one of my goals of accumulating 300 points for the Regional Season Series!
This weekend I shot my M*F Accuracy Systems 25X47 chambered by .greene.75 nestled into an MPA Vanquish chassis and it ran flawlessly all day in the adverse conditions.

I travelled to Taber Alberta this past weekend for the Taber Precision Rifle Clubs - Rust Buster One Day PRS Regional Centerfire match.
Can’t thank MD for putting this match together.
Deepest condolences go out to him and his entire family for their tremendous loss this past week. Most MD’s would have pulled the plug on this match with a devastating blow to their family unit just days before a match weekend. But Jono soldiered on and put on a great, entertaining weekend for all that attended.
Without his dedication and perseverance, I wouldn’t have had the chance to compete this weekend so I’d like to dedicate my win this weekend to Jono and his family.

My .greene.75 Minute of Fly Accuracy Systems 6mm hammered this weekend. The Stinger 5 port brake helped me see every bullet fly to the target. The entire system and optic combination has never been better for me. Two regional matches in the books for me this 2026 season, and 200 points!

Thanks to all the squad 4 competitors that helped me this weekend. Y’all made Squad Mom duties that much easier!

Also shout out to 3zero6 Precision Student for his Top Senior finish this weekend. This is his 3rd day of shooting matches now and finished 21st overall out of the 50 competitors. If you’re interested in getting Precision Rifle Instruction, drop us a DM!

The 2026 Berger Precision Challenge proved to be a tough test, tons of movement, some tiny targets, and 105 second stage par times.
Finished 20th overall and took home the Top International hardware this week!

My trip to the 2025 Precision Rifle Series Finale didn’t start off well.
In order to get to the Finale, we decided to fly to Toronto and drive the remaining 6 hours south to Eastern Pennsylvania.
The YQR Airport security didn’t like me having steel weights in my carry on backpack. They also didn’t like the two bipods I had in my pack.
The Regina Police arrived on site at the airport and took my items back to the cop shop for safe keeping.
I need these items to compete. I removed them from my rifle so my rifle case would make the 50lb limit for baggage.
Now what? Stay home? Miss my flight?
Luckily I was able to get on the plane just before they closed the door.
I put out an SOS to Mr. Cashin, owner of Master Piece Arms to see if he had any extra parts and pieces I could borrow for the weekend to replace what I had confiscated at the airport.
Immediately he replied and had parts on their way.
Huge thanks to Phil Cashin and his entire team for saving the day. Keith Rudasill delivered the parts to the range this morning and I got to work.

Also a huge thank you to Ryan McLean and Josh Botha of MDT Sporting Goods for loaning me a double pull Ckye pod bipod for the weekend.

I was able to re-assemble the rifle on the tailgate of the truck and get the rifle zerod up on the range so we are ready to rock!
Can’t wait to get this started!
Thanks again guys! Your ABSOLUTE ROCK STARS! I can’t not thank you enough for helping me out this weekend so I can compete at my first ever PRS Finale!

The 2025 KRG Windbreaker 2 Day Precision Rifle PRO Series match presented by Defiance Machine at the Farm Out Range was an amazing weekend!
We had a great trip down to Spokane, Washington, tons of amazing food and great fun with our friends from both Canada and the U.S.
Day one of the match went pretty well putting me inside the top 10. I put a new Stinger brake on my rifle on Friday at the zero range that I feel helped me see my bullet better than ever!
Day two I struggled with switchy winds and unfortunately dropped down the leaderboard to finish 17th place overall.
I managed to shoot well enough to take another Top Marksmen trophy.
Congrats to on the victory, Andrew Peterson for his 2nd place, and for 3rd place. These boys took home some amazing gold, silver, and bronze Defiance Machine Actions for their efforts. Probly the coolest trophy’s I have seen to date!
After the last shot was fired and the smoke cleared, 5 Saskatchewan shooters had finished inside the top 20 which was AWSOME to see!
Huge thanks to Bob Hamilton and Nick Gadarzi and all their support staff and amazing RO’s for all their hard work and efforts to put on what has been one of the best matches I have shot consistently over the past three years now.
Can’t wait to do it again!
