*New Purple Belts!!*

Late post but we were able to finally catch all three of these monsters last week and recognize them for all their hard work.

Matt Woods is a beast! Everyone knows this guy was way overdue for his purple belt and we couldn't be happier to be the ones to recognize him. After joining the team he and his wife have both become awesome training partners and great friends. Looking forward to seeing you develop further Matt!!

Andy the Third!! Another special one as Andy came to us a few years ago and has been one of the most focused men in the room ever since. Seeing him compete, train, become a friend, and be just a standup kind of guy, helping to mentor some of the younger members of the adult team, has been special to witness. Congratulations bro!! You absolutely deserve it!

To complete the trinity of Andrews, our own home grown Andrew also received the purple belt. Andrew has been a member of the team for a long time as well as a great friend. Leglocks galore and some crushing pressure, it was absolutely time to level up. Congratulations Andrew!!

Congratulations to everyone!! Purple belt was always my (Coach Brock) favourite time. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did years ago!!

Help send some good vibes to coach Sam today as she undergoes her long overdue shoulder surgery. Everyone at the gym knows how limiting this injury has been for her for the last couple years and we're excited to see her on the road back!

HELP NEEDED!!

LIKE + SHARE + SUPPORT our displaced neighbours to the north.

As most have probably heard, some of our northern communities in Saskatchewan have been absolutely devastated by this year's wildfire season. Several communities have been evacuated and a few near to our hearts have been completely lost.

People have been displaced from their homes, forced to leave pets and valuables behind, and evacuated to towns around the province, including to here in Regina.

We have been the recipients of the famous northern hospitality so many times over the years during our travels into the rivers and lakes surrounding some of these communities and we are hoping to be able to provide some help in return during this challenging time.

Donations of items mentioned in the photo above can be dropped off at our club located at 1535-B McAra street in Regina until next Thursday, June 12th, during our regular class times, and will be distributed to displaced people taking refuge here in Regina by one of our local MLA's. Any cash donations will be used to purchase the items mentioned above.

Any support is gratefully appreciated. Saskatchewan is one of the last places on earth where we can find true wilderness and these communities deserve our support.

Big night last Monday!! We were able to FINALLY recognize these Expedition BJJ squad members after Coach Brock's elaborate ruse got them all on the mat on the same day! 😂

Fun days with our kids program! 🥋

The kids program really is the heart and soul of our school. Growing all the time but still room for more!

These youngsters learn discipline, confidence, and assertiveness while having a ton of fun!

They say rough and tumble play is great for kids... We bring the fun to the rough and tumble action!!🔥

*5 Years of jiujitsu for Sami!*

Yesterday marked the five year anniversary for Sam and jiujitsu with us here at Expedition!

Since the start she's been open minded, coachable, and hard working, becoming such a huge asset to the team and our operations here! From running the front desk to introducing other female students to our style of training and leading the way for others competiting for the school, Sami is the real deal and a very special gal!

You'll find Sam on the mat with us every evening, mixing it up and continuing to lead the way.

Thanks for everything you do Sami!!
