60-90 minutes of technique, 60-90 minutes of sparring and BJJ games, and time remaining for activities. As an organization becomes more established, the focus often shifts toward growth and away from the everyday experience for existing clients.

In commemoration of our 10-year anniversary, rather than bringing in a special guest for a seminar that students might soon forget, I reflected on the original intent behind opening our school: to create the one I wished had existed throughout all my years of training. With that in mind, I wanted to enhance safety and the experience for everyone who trains with us.

I’m pleased to announce that our school now offers Saskatchewan’s only gymnastics spring subfloor and what a difference it makes to training.

This project wouldn’t have been possible without our local sponsors who believe in the quality of our school, our vision, and our commitment to prioritizing student safety and elevating the training experience above all else.

A sincere thank you Karavan, Highway 1 Drilling, Living Sky Refrigeration, Regina Car Wash, and our two private donors for coming together to make this vision a reality and help take our training to the next level.

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of our program

“Thank you to the parents who trust us with the success of their children. Thank you to all students who trust us with their safety, progress, and for taking time out of their lives to join us. Thank you to the individuals who met with me in 2015 when I had a vision to answer my questions, support me, and help me feel as though opening a school was possible.

Thank you to all our coaches, senior students, and everyone who has been a part of the process, whether you dropped in, attended a trial class, trained for a few months, or a few years.

All the support, kind words, and participation over the years have kept the dream alive.

10 years of no serious injuries during my classes, no skin infections, and very few problems. I have the utmost gratitude for how smooth the ride has been and the gift of approaching teaching with the same appreciation and poise as a beginner.

I have a vision for the next decade of service and look forward to witnessing where things stand when the program arrives at the next anniversary.”

Starting at the end of January, we’re excited to launch our new Kids Jiu Jitsu class tailored specifically for children ages 8-12 on the autism spectrum.

This program is designed with sensitivity to sensory needs and individual comfort levels in mind, focusing entirely on non-contact activities to build skills in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

In each session, kids will engage in solo drills and shadow techniques to learn foundational Brazilian Jiu Jitsu movements, such as guard positions, escapes, and transitions, without requiring any partner pairing or physical contact.

We’ll incorporate fun, structured warm-ups like animal walks, balance exercises, and coordination games to enhance motor skills and body awareness.
