55 YEARS OF CHABAN UKRAINIAN DANCE REGINA!
In February 2027, Chaban turns 55! For over half a century, our club has been a vibrant home for culture, community, an the incredible joy of Ukrainian dance right here in Regina.
Classes for our historic anniversary season officially start on SEPTEMBER 8TH!
To keep our beautiful tradition leaping forward, we are focussing on growing our youth programs and welcoming families back to the studio with some amazing limited time anniversary incentives.
At this time, we are dancing from the well equipped studios at the Regina Performing Arts Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from the Victoria Club on Monday nights.
ANNIVERSARY OFFERS:
1 MONTH OF FREE CLASSES for all first-time dancers AND any returning Chaban alumni ( any previous dancer who participated in our group more than 1 year ago)
REDUCED ADMINISTRATION FEE for all first-time dancers and any returning Chaban dancers.
FOCUS ON CHILDREN’S CLASSES: Give your children the gift of dance, rhythm, and lifelong friendships. Our youth programs offer a supportive high-energy environment where kids stay active, build confidence, and connect with a rich cultural art. We have classes tailored for all ages and skill levels – no experience required.
CALLING ALL CHABAN ALUMNI: Has it been more than 1 year since you danced with our group? Once a Chaban dancer, always a Chaban dancer! Whether you want to introduce your own children to the stage or reconnect with your roots, we would love to see your back in our network as we build toward this historic 55 year milestone. Take advantage of a FREE first month of classes and a reduced admin fee and come home to CHABAN.
DON’T FORGET ABOUT OUR ADULT GROUP: Ever heard the saying, “You rest. You rust.” Come and get some great exercise and learn something new with our adult group. Ages 21 to 72 is our current age range of dancers. We would love to see parents of dancers come try this.
ONE MORE CALL – previous ensemble dancers – are you interested in a one hour per week just for fun dance class? No pressure to perform unless you want to. Feel like dusting off your dance slippers? We will organize such a class if we receive some interest. Contact Cindy Scott, president directly
