New season, new bogu! Happy first day of Spring!

Winter term classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 pm at the Victoria Club, starting January 6, 2026.

Our winter term Open House classes are set for January 6, 8, 13 and 15, 2026. If you are interested in trying Kendo, wear comfortable exercise clothing and we'll loan you a practice sword (shinai). Any questions? Contact us at [email protected]

Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Gendzwill sensei from Saskatoon Kendo Club for leading our Shinpan (referree) seminar two days ago. We all learned so much, regardless of where we are in our individual kendo.

The first class of our Fall term is Thursday, September 4.
Our Open House classes are set for September 4, 9, 11, and 16th, from 6-8 pm, at the Victoria Club. Wear comfortable exercise clothes. We'll loan you a practice sword (shinai).

Thanks to the Victoria Club, we are able to practise an extra month this year, before our summer break in July and August. Happy June to our members and followers!

RKC members, classes resume tomorrow. Hurray, back to training!

Last class in the 6-8 pm time slot is May 16. After that, there are four more classes to the end of term on May 30. The last four classes will run 4:45-6:45 pm. Regular classes will resume in early September. In the meantime, work hard, have fun, enjoy flexing your Kendo muscles!
