The Fall 3D dot shoot is only a couple of weeks away.
We are having a little fun and doing some different things this time because John wanted to try some things, and Jason acquiesced to his demands.
There will be plenty of long-distance shots to be had between 50- 100 yards. There will be two shooting stakes. One for Compound and one for Traditional / Youth. But feel free to shoot from where it is safe and you feel comfortable.
There will be 25 targets; half of them will be in the trails, and the other half will be in the infield, shot like an indoor event.
- Scoring zones will be 11 - 8 - 5.
- Arrows scoring 11 must be fully inside of the painted dot, no line cutting.
- Two arrows per archer/target.
- Rangefinders allowed for all classes; the course is not marked.

It maybe the same weekend as neighbouring provinces ASA finals, but for those looking to just have some fun with friends, and a nice walk on the trails accompanied by your bow! We have been talking about doing a DOT shoot for years, we have committed and are prepping the animals.

And just like that, another Wascana Archers Spring Bear 3D is in the books! Below are the final results from Saturday and Sunday.
FYI, a wrist release was found in the parking lot on Saturday, and 6 arrows today. Let us know if want to claim them!
Thanks to all the clubs that came out from across the area to attend on this lovely, but windy weekend. Hope everyone had fun with the 96 yard Raptor!
Pitch also says thank you for all the nibbles of food people snuck for him :).
See you this fall, August 15/16 for our Fall Classic.

We were out flagging the course for the Spring Bear 3D this evening, and things are looking good!
The trails are in very good condition, relatively dry and clear, but we recommend good outdoor/hiking footwear.
