Yesterday, our beautiful senior dancer Nikki stepped onto the stage in Toronto to complete the most prestigious examination in the RAD syllabus — Solo Seal. ✨

Qualifying alongside only 12 other candidates from across Canada and the United States, Nikki represented not only Dance City, but years of unwavering dedication, discipline, artistry, and passion for ballet.

She was absolutely brilliant. She lit up the stage with grace, confidence, and heart, and we could not be more proud of the young artist she has become. She brought us to tears❤️

This moment has been years in the making. Nikki has worked toward this goal since the age of three, and watching her stand in this moment was incredibly emotional and inspiring for everyone who has been part of her journey.

A very special thank you to Mrs. Miller for her endless guidance, mentorship, and coaching throughout this process, as well as to Miss Nicole, Mr. Armando, and Miss Nadine for helping shape Nikki into the ballerina she is today 🩰

Nikki, your work ethic, humility, and love for the art of ballet have always shone so brightly. Your journey is just beginning, this achievement is something so few dancers ever reach, and you should be unbelievably proud.

Our in-studio recital rehearsals will take place from Thursday May, 28th to Wednesday June, 3rd! We can’t wait to see all of our dancers in the studio as they prepare for recital weekend 🤍
