The ice makers and facility at Evergreen Curling Club deserve a tip of the hat for providing such a great facilty and amazing ice across all 6 sheets throughout the event. Definitely some of the best ice our team has had the privilege to play on.

As we wrap up the 2025-2026 curling season, it’s a good time to look back on an incredible two‑year journey together.

Over the past two seasons, this team has achieved some amazing milestones, including the 2026 CurlSask U15 Provincial Championship, qualifying to represent the Regina District at the 2026 Sask Winter Games, and 1st place in the 2026 Curl Regina U18 Juvenile Division - a testament to the hard work, commitment, and resilience these athletes have shown every time they stepped on the ice. It was not always easy but they showed perseverance.

Beyond the results, the growth of both the players and the team as a whole has been remarkable. Skill development, teamwork, confidence, and leadership all took big steps forward, and those lessons will last far beyond the scoreboard.

This season didn’t end the way we hoped, as we had a goal of capturing first place in the U15 division at the Marc Kennedy Junior Curling Classic. While disappointing, moments like these are part of sport and provide valuable learning opportunities that help shape stronger athletes moving forward.

Whatever the future holds, we’re proud of what this group has accomplished and grateful for the memories made along the way so far and are excited to see what is around the corner.

Ackerman Curling is especially thankful for our coach Jason Ackerman for your leadership, patience, knowledge and time in grooming these 4 young men!

We had an amazing experience at the Marc Kennedy Junior Curling Classic. It was such a great way to cap off our 2025-2026 season. Finishing 4 and 0 in our pool and in a 6 way tie for first place in qualifying for the 1/4 finals was a great achievement with so many talented teams in the event. Thank you so much to the event organizers, volunteers and the clubs for the hospitality over the weekend.
