Meet Jessica McAlphine from the BC Cancer Agency. She is our other talented researcher that we are trying to fund through our WISE Women project. Her research is focusing on classifying endometrial cancers to help identify which tumours will be more aggressive, helping identify women who may need more (or less) intense treatment. But, she needs our help to continue this ground breaking research.

Help us make an impact on those affected by cancer and become one of our WISE Women or WISE Investors today. You can do it individually, as a team or host a fundraising to help raise funds.

Cheryl Fry receives a well-deserved award from the Canadian Cancer Society : Revelstoke Current Cheryl was awarded the Canadian Cancer Society’s Volunteer Leadership Award on Wednesday, November 16, for her 16 years of service as the society’s face in Revelstoke. In 2000 Cheryl became the coordinator of the Revelstoke Relay for Life event. “She also took the lead on the annual Daffodil Campaig...

There will not be a Relay For Life in Revelstoke this year. The Canadian Cancer Society is changing things up...we will be doing the Slopes For Hope coming up on February 28 ,2015...for more info go to slopesforhope.ca...THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT OVER THE LAST 14 YEARS...Watch for more events to come!!!

Relay For Life coming up on June 8,2014 from 10:00am - 10:00pm at Mtn View School Ball Field... We will be having the Revelstoke'S Got Talent Contest in a two part on Relay day as we got seriously rained out on May 3, so all contestants will be competing in the morning of Relay and the chosen 5 will compete in the afternoon of Relay. Our theme this year is " Lights, Camera, Cure", so we will be having some of our teams dressing up as their favorite characters of their teams chosen movie, should be a great time ...something for all ages, also come wish Cheryl Fry Good Luck in her new adventures as she is passing the Leadership Chair position on, this is her last Year, so she invites anyone who has leadership skills to come and talk with her if they are interested in being the next leader for the Canadian Cancer Society relay For Life- Revelstoke...see you there

We will be holding our Captains and volunteer meeting at the Rec Centre tomorrow wednesday Feb 26...Captains meeting at 7:00 volunteers at 8:00....This friday is earlybird deadline for $10 registration fee after friday it will be $20 per person to register
