Stoked Skate Camp

Hey Revelstoke! First skate camp was a great success!

Lots of progression, lots of fun and super stoked to have met all these young rippers!

Three more camps to go and still quite a few spots left to sign up your kids (July 27-30, August 4-7, August 24-27)
Head on to the Revelstoke Parks, Recreation and Culture website (or in person at the community center) to sign up and get info on our programming.

Just wanted to let people know there are lots of spots left to sign up for skate camp next week and the following one August 11-15.

Our week 2 crew was awesome!!! We were able to convince ALL of a scooter kids to give skating a try and a few of them went home begging for their very own skateboards! 😂 Mission accomplished haha! 💪🏾 🛹 🔥

A HUGE thank you goes out to everyone that has ever donated skateboards, decks or protective equipment to our camp! 🙏🏼

We’re always excepting new and used gear so if you have any lying around collecting dust, we’re always happy to have more to share! 🛹 🪖 👍🏽

Some of our current and former skate camp kiddos tore up the skatepark this year on June 21st for Go Skate Day, winning skate competitions, prizes and hearts!

Let’s not forget that June 21st is also National Indigenous People Day 🧡. Equal representation of all genders, ethnicities, nationalities and social classes is extremely important. We value equality and inclusion immensely in our skate camp program.

Today is our last day, of our first camp and what a riot it’s already been! A huge thanks goes out to our community for sharing the skatepark with us, to our sponsors, to the kiddos and to their parents!! 🙏🏼
