🥋 Special Gi Class Tomorrow Night at Advantage BJJ 🇧🇷
Join us tomorrow from 6:30–8:00 PM for a special Gi class taught by my old friend and longtime coach Pat.
When I started Jiu-Jitsu back in 2004, Pat was already a purple belt, which was a rare thing back then. He was always one of my favorite coaches to learn from. Pat traveled and competed in Brazil multiple times, bringing back a huge amount of real, hard-earned knowledge.
This was before instructionals, before YouTube tutorials, and before Instagram reels. You learned from people who went to the source.
🇧🇷 Pat trained in Teresópolis at Hélio Gracie’s farm, something very few people have done. That experience shaped his Jiu-Jitsu and his approach to teaching.
It’s an honor to have him on the mats sharing what he’s learned.
