Isn't it ironic that people spend their entire lives trying to amass wealth in the form of money, fame and fortune only to wish for the ability to trade it for health later on? One major difference is that most of us start already being gifted with our health. You've probably heard the term "health is wealth" one too many times as it's the slogan for every other gym or personal trainer but there is some truth to it.
In the same way being financially responsible includes saving up, finding ways to develop passive income assets, our goal in life is to build up physical fitness as it produces "passive income" in the form of allowing us to explore the environment, maintain independence and combat the stresses of gravity related decline later in life.

On January 27th/28th, we're going to see who rises to the top. Come join United Barbell Club for our inaugural event, 'THE COMBINE' where we'll be pitting participants against one another in a gender standardized series of stations testing various elements of strength and fitness.
This will be our 1st time running this event - but it won't be the last. We will be putting on this event 2-3 more times this year as a means of comparison and self-improvement. Come see what you're made of and then spend the year working on getting better!

Stress less and leave it to the best!
United Barbell Club will be hosting a 1 day seminar about the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. We'll be covering the basics of Sn**ch and Clean and Jerk, and how you can get started. Come learn from one of the best teams in BC, with over 17 athletes who qualified for Provincials this year, a number of National level athletes, and one of the only teams in recent years to have an athlete from BC attend a World Jr. Championship!
Who: For beginners and anyone wanting to try it out for the first time.
