Meet Taylor Chen, PGA of Canada and PGA of Taiwan Class A Professional.

Taylor’s passion for golf began at age eight in Taipei, Taiwan, learning the game from his uncle, a golf professional.

A member of the PGA of Canada since 2004 and PGA of Taiwan since 2012, Taylor competed professionally across Canada and Asia before turning his focus to coaching.

With 17+ years of teaching experience and certifications in TPI, TrackMan, BodiTrak, SAM PuttLab, and SuperSpeed Golf, Taylor combines technology, biomechanics, and experience to help golfers play better.

Fluent in English and Mandarin Taylor coaches beginners to advanced players, his goal is simple: understand the player, improve the swing, and elevate performance.

Meet Shingo Akizuki, PGA of Canada Class A Professional.

Shingo Akizuki discovered his passion for golf at a young age after his parents encouraged him to explore a variety of sports. More than 40 years later, that passion continues to shape his career.

A Class A Professional with the PGA of Canada since 2003, Shingo has spent over 20 years coaching at Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club, helping golfers of all ages and skill levels build confidence, improve their fundamentals, and enjoy the game.

Shingo believes golf offers something for everyone, whether it's friendship, competition, the outdoors, or personal growth. His coaching focuses on helping each player develop their own unique game while fostering a lifelong appreciation for golf.

Meet the Mayfair Pros!

Meet Tony Rommel, Associate Golf Professional.

Tony Rommel began his professional golf career after graduating from the San Diego Golf Academy. A PGA of Canada Class A Professional, he joined the association in 1989, taught in Lethbridge, Alberta, before moving to Quilchena Golf and Country Club in 1991, where he completed his apprenticeship.

Since joining the Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club Golf Academy in 2000, Tony has played a key role in maintaining the academy's high teaching standards.

Tony's coaching philosophy focuses on strong fundamentals, helping golfers build a solid foundation for long-term improvement and success.
