Pitt Meadows Track Days

Can anyone help out the SCCBC this weekend with flagging ? They're really short and need some help.

SCCBC -CACC #2 May 24 & 25

Morning meeting will be at the META Club house at 8 am on Saturday and Sunday

Lunches and water will be provided. If you require extra treats or different drink options please bring your own.

For any new workers you will be paired up with a seasoned worker that train you on the corners giving you knowledge and skills a you learn. You will learn about all the flags, worker safety, eventually earning radio communications and responding to cars. You will learn at your pace making sure you are comfortable with being on a corner.

We also have other positions that can be filled like Tech (cars go through and check for safety standards) Pre grid (where the cars go to go onto the track) Safety (go to broken car and move them) While you are up close and personal with the race cars.

For all our new volunteers please remember to wear light clothes on the top. No red blue yellow black as you look like important flags. You will also be paired up with seasoned workers to help train you and so you can have some fun.

Please remember to dress for the weather and pack for cold weather. It is easier to layer clothes.

Many of you will remember Lucy from our track days and sadly, she lost her husband of two years, Freddy Blondel, in a tragic crash on Chuckanut Drive, Washington on the 23rd.
