It’s always easier to work on zombie presses with some support from our little fluff ball Finn. Did you catch how well she sat for me? I am such a proud dog mom 💕

A long weekend and good weather is always the best combination. I got out to discover some waterfalls in the area! They were all so stunning, it brought me back to waterfalls in Bali😍

It’s was definitely springtime in Vancouver today, I love to see the sun and those cherry blossoms! I On the day this photo was taken it was the exact same weather in the city as it was today. The drastic change of seasons from one height of elevation to the next is amazing here. We’ve got a few more months of snowy mountain tops left, then we have to welcome all the furry friends 🐻 .

While Dennis went on a 30minute hike to shoot Lake Bled at sunrise, I opted out since we did it the evening before. I totally would have slowed him down, and probably fallen on my face in the dark. Once the sky started to brighten up I did a few flows to get my body moving. You can tell I'm a lot more confident on one side than the other. Quiet, chilly, and foggy Lake Bled is what I will remember most.

A progress shot of this variation of natarajasana. The shot from June may look deeper, but as you can see I am a lot more forward trying to get the deeper split. The progression is that my body is up taller, and I am more square in the shoulders and hips, allowing me to get a deeper split with more ease. Once you feel that you have gone as deep as you can in a posture check in with your alignment, see where you can correct yourself and take that pose to a whole new level!

Slow settling movements as I struggle with my tight shoulders.. flipped gripped has recently become harder, all the arm balance/core work is tightening them up. I need to get back to some yummy shoulder opening!
