The Drive All Stars, led by professional players Jacob Holt and Jermaine Haley, defeated the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons 125-118 in an exciting, high scoring Battle on the Mountain showdown.

A special shoutout to Coach Karn Sharda, who is one of the best coaches we have in British Columbia. His presence on the sidelines was a huge reason we came away with the win in front of a full house at SFU.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a special night for basketball. Events like this continue to grow the game in British Columbia.

On June 13 at SFU West Gym, the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons bring one of Asia’s premier university basketball programs to Vancouver to take on the Drive Basketball All-Stars.

The Fighting Maroons arrive with a reputation for winning, toughness, and high-level talent. Known for producing professional players and competing in one of the most passionate basketball environments in the world, they represent one of the biggest international challenges ever brought to BC.

The Drive All-Stars will answer with a roster featuring 3 of the greatest players to ever come through Drive Basketball and 3 BC legends:

The 3SSB Championships bring together some of the best teams in North America, and earning a spot is a reflection of the work these athletes have put in all year.

Proud of this group and excited to see them represent DRIVE and British Columbia on one of the biggest stages in grassroots basketball. 🇨🇦🔥

History made.

When we joined the adidas Gold circuit, the vision was simple: give our players a mostly West Coast schedule while still earning the opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages in grassroots basketball — the adidas 3SSB Championships in South Carolina.

Last year, our 16U and 17U teams made that vision a reality.

This year, we took it a step further.

All three of our top DRIVE adidas teams — 15U, 16U, and 17U — have qualified for the 2026 adidas 3SSB Championships.

That means every one of our top high school teams earned their spot.

That’s a tremendous accomplishment for our players and coaches, and another reminder of what makes DRIVE special.

For more than 20 years, our mission has been to provide players in British Columbia with a proven path to compete at the highest levels of the game. This season is another example of what can happen when talented players commit to the process and are surrounded by great coaching and a schedule built to challenge them.
