10 years growing, learning, loving. Thanks for an amazing decade, babe. I can’t believe how far we’ve come and looking forward to the next 10 years. Thanks for being my purpose and giving me purpose.

Heartbroken to hear the news that my friend John May passed away Friday. John was so much more than a coach to so many people. He epitomized what it meant to be a coach. He cared for each athlete as a whole, making sure their mind, body and soul were supported. He was there when they were in trouble, he was patient when they needed to learn valuable lessons, and there was no question he could get athletes to reach goals they may not have believed possible. I’ll miss our conversations about all things coaching, life and our shared love of our sport…and even the ALL CAPS EMAILS when a point was to be made. Wish I could have told you this when you could’ve heard it. We lost one of the people who made BC a leader in our sport. Rest easy my friend.

.h made his debut in today’s competition ranked 22nd and finished a respectable 17th with a throw of 74.02m. It wasn’t want he wanted but what cameras didn’t show was how well he handled himself on the world stage. The future is bright as we head into the final leg of our season at and championships. Thanks for letting me be a part of this adventure.

Couldn’t be more proud of the work .h has done to achieve what he has this season. Canadian U23 Record, National Collegiate Leader, Commonwealth Games Team Member and World Athletics Championships Team Member. All while working towards a degree at a competitive academic institution. He’s exceeded expectations.



Also a huge congrats to our teammate and her coach .saatara on her selection to the World Athletics Championships Team after capping off a career for the ages! Eugene has been good to us this year!

Very proud of the work the crew did this past week at the Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Lots of learning for next year. The 2023 season is gonna be a blast! (📸: )
