Closing out Paramedic Services Week by recognizing the incredible paramedics, dispatchers, EMRs, and support staff who serve communities across BC every day with compassion, professionalism, and strength.

Healthcare doesn’t stop when the weather changes, holidays arrive, or the clock hits midnight. Paramedics and dispatchers are always there — ready to answer the call.

Communities are stronger because of the people willing to answer calls for help at any hour of the day or night. We are grateful for the dedication of paramedics and dispatchers across BC.

Public safety is a team effort. Every day, paramedics work alongside nurses, physicians, firefighters, police, and hospital staff to help keep communities safe and cared for.

Mental health matters for first responders too. During Paramedic Services Week, we recognize not only the work paramedics and dispatchers do, but the importance of supporting their wellness and resilience as well.

A calm voice on the phone. A hand on your shoulder. A crew arriving when you need help most. Small moments can make a big difference during emergencies, and our members provide that every day.
