Dani and Scarlett are at it again! Highschool Provincials in Chilliwack have started off today and have their first W under their belt!

This past weekend was highschool regionals for the Thompson Okangan Region.

Team Monteith was there 💜
But this time we were there to represent our schools!

Dani and Scarlett represented SAS alongside Nicole, Tika and Coach Kirsten. These girls were able to bring home 2nd runner up (3rd place)! Way to go ladies!!

Jacey represented and lead her team of 5 from WSS alongside her sister and our prior alternate, Kennady. You all represented your school well!

Kyara represented and lead her team of 5 schoolmates from PVSS in the boys division. You all did your school proud!

It was neat and different to compete against each other. And of course, we all had a blast!

What an adventure. U20’s was an amazing experience for us and definitely a season highlight. Getting a taste of arena ice was thrilling, a flash into the future. We loved it. Thank you for this opportunity, thank you to the volunteers, officials, Esquimalt Curling Club, Team Monteith sponsors, our coaches, our parents, family and friends for making this possible for us and supporting us the entire time.

As we move into a quieter second half of the season, we couldn’t be more grateful for the achievements and learning curves that push us forward as a team and as individuals. Keep up with our events moving forward, including High School Regionals put on by Kamloops Curling Club as each of us will be there representing our schools and competing!

What a game and what an experience!

Great game against and Congratulations to them for earning a spot to go to Nationals and represent BC! First they play in the finals game this morning, but no matter the result, both teams get to go. So Congratulations to both teams, Bartlett & Fitzgibbon!!

AMAZING is the word that can describe how we feel from this experience. For us, this game was a check on all our bucket lists.
