Our little dancers absolutely love their Jazz class! ✨

Unlike the Jazz Funk style commonly seen today, our Jazz classes focus on strength, musicality, energy, and performance quality, with movements that feel natural and age-appropriate for young dancers.

With elements of ballet technique and beautiful lines, but with so much more freedom to move, jump, turn, kick, and express!

The whole class is full of movement, energy, and most importantly — JOY! 💫

Through Jazz, children build strength, coordination, confidence, and stage presence while simply enjoying the feeling of dancing.

A fun, energetic, and expressive style that so many kids can enjoy. 🤍

✨ AM Dance Open House — That’s a Wrap! ✨

What an amazing two days! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open House. 🤍

We loved meeting so many new young dancers and were truly impressed by how quickly they jumped into class. For many, it was their very first class at AM Dance, yet their focus, musicality, and enthusiasm made it feel like they had been dancing with us for much longer! 🥰

We were also so excited to see how much everyone enjoyed our new Jazz & Contemporary classes. Seeing those big smiles and hearing “I want to do it again!” after class made our day. ✨

Our Open House may be over, but a new dance season is just beginning.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in September — familiar faces and lots of new ones! 🤍

✨ Kids’ Chinese Dance Shenyun Training ✨

Chinese dance is not only about learning the movements — it’s about learning how to make every movement breathe. 🤍

Through Shenyun (身韵) training, our young dancers explore the connection between breath, body, rhythm, and expression. From gentle rises and falls to flowing transitions and expressive movements, they learn how to move with greater coordination, control, and intention.

Little by little, we’re building more than technique — we’re developing musicality, body awareness, artistry, and the unique elegance of Chinese dance. 🌿

Summer Ballet Intensive 🩰✨

Great ballet is built on strong fundamentals.

This summer, we’re slowing down to focus on the details that matter most—posture, alignment, strength, control, musicality, and artistry. Every plié, tendu, relevé, and port de bras is another step toward becoming a stronger, more confident dancer.

Progress doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from consistency, discipline, and the willingness to refine the smallest details every single day.

First time at Dance Down! ✨

Neither of these girls has ever taken a Jazz class, but that didn’t stop them from stepping onto the stage with confidence, energy, and big smiles.

Dance is about so much more than learning steps. It gives children the confidence to express themselves, the courage to perform, and the joy of sharing who they are.

We couldn’t be prouder of how they embraced the experience and gave it their all. This is what dance is really about. ❤️
