Here at The Bar we take our assessments seriously πŸ’ͺ🏽. Our goal is to gain as much data as possible to optimize your movement and individual joint health. This will allow you to display your true strength, maximize performance and mitigate chances of injury. 

During the squat the main joints moving are the hips, knees and ankles. Assessing the function of those joints individually will have a huge impact on how they work together. Each individual is built differently based on leverages, past injuries, mobility restrictions, training experience etc.. our goal is to give YOU the tools YOU need to optimize YOURSELF for the best possible outcome in any area you want to focus on. 

It all comes down to the body you are bringing to the exercise. We get so caught up in teaching the movement and forget that we can also improve ourselves internally at the same time. Most people don’t know what type of mobility or corrective work they truly need without having a joint by joint assessment done. With any assessment, the conclusion you get is only as good as the skill in performing it. 

We have coaches at The Bar that are able to take you through an assessment and start you off towards optimizing YOURSELF unlocking your full potential in any area you wish to focus on.

So we are opening up May 19th and wanted to show how much the health, safety and comfort of our members means to us! These are the measures we are taking moving forward, DM us with any concerns that you may haveπŸ™πŸΌ β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”-Only 40 memberships available, no drop ins allowed. We will also Temperature check everyone before coming back to the gym and continue it for the next few weeks/months. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”-Maximum 10 people in the gym at one time to maintain distancing protocols with a scheduling system to insure that. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” -Physical distancing, all members must stay 6ft away from each other unless they are a couple or siblings ect. anyone not respecting distancing /cleaning could lose their membership. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” -Hospital grade disinfectant will be in spray bottles all around the gym, cleaning anything you touch before and after use. Plus daily/hourly cleaning by our team. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” -Weekly full gym sanitization spray, we have a cleaner with a full commercial grade sprayer coming to the gym every week to get a full deep sanitization!

-We are leaving our doors open to minimize contact on door handles, there will be a station at our entrance to sanitize before anyone comes in the gym. Wash your hands frequently especially on arriving or leaving the gym.β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”-Masks will be available for anyone who wants one but they are not mandatory. No community chalk, bands or clips for a while but we will have some available for sale so you can have your own.
